DONNA BERMUDA – PDF SEWING PATTERN

Donna is a high-waisted pair of Bermuda shorts, fitted around the waist and loose around the hips. 

It features a flat waistband on the front and elastic on the back with five belt loops all around, front single pleat, topstitched crease line, inseam side pockets. Donna has a fly front centre zip closure and a single button on the waistband.

Donna has a wide topstitched hem.

SUITABLE FABRICS

Main fabric: Donna was designed for mid-weight woven fabrics with little to no stretch. Fabrics like linen that are appropriate for bottoms and suiting fabrics. 
 
Interfacing: lightweight woven fusible interfacing or lightweight knit interfacing with low stretch.

HEIGHT

The pattern is offered in two height groups: 160 and 170 cm (5’3” and 5’7”), when buying this pattern you should select the closest height to your body, if you are in the middle choose the shortest. Both patterns have exactly the same width around the body, the only difference is in the length.

If you are outside these groups, you may need to alter the pattern length at the lengthen/shorten lines marked on the pattern pieces.
