Seam allowance

Overall I really liked the pattern, the shorts I made with it are fabulous. If I could add one wish, it would be to draw in the seam allowances, as the given ones are too narrow for me, I prefer 15mm as I tend to flat fell or french seam. Overlocked seams are really not something I use. Especially not on trousers.

Amazing pattern!

Just finished my first pair of these in a lovely woolen fabric - I want to make so many more!! The instructions are written very clearly, and everything turned out looking super professional, thanks to the attention to detail. I had to find out how to add lining to these pants, as the wool fabric I used was kinda scratchy. I simply cut out the leg pattern pieces in a viscose satin lining fabric, and basted, then overlocked them to the main fabric pieces before assembling the trouser as instructed . Worked out wonderfully! The fit of these are spot on, and will be used for many years to come. Thank you for such an amazing pattern!

Fabulous Pattern

I thought I was being a little over ambitious making these trousers in a beautiful suiting fabric for an event with not a great deal of time. I tried a one legged toile without success and decided to go with the straight size based on my measurements. The instructions were so clear and simple to follow. I took my time, but regretfully didn’t use the bias tape feature on the pockets or back seam, as I had thought I might line them. I didn’t have time to figure out a lining, so the serged edges aren’t as neat as I would have liked, but they are ok as only I know! The fit is good and I have another pair planned, this time using all the tape to give me a lovely inside finish. This is the first Bella Loves pattern I have tried and I will definitely try others. Thank you!
